Why We’re Better.

Our cameras are better than Miovision’s Scout, which is widely used by other consultants.

Trafficat has years of experience using Miovision Scout units for data collection, but knew there were better options. The battery life is somewhat limited, the video quality is poor (but good enough) even when set to “high”, and night recordings are very murky. We decided to develop a camera system that gives us better quality recording and more flexibility, which can still be processed through Miovision.

Our cameras have:

• Higher video quality (>480p vs 1080p)

• Much better night vision

• Wider field of view (90° vs 130°)

• Live viewing

This results in:

• Higher accuracy

• Full site observations

• Better pedestrian detection at night

• Lower costs for the client
